    I'm responsible in the planning, directing and overseeing activities dealing with a company’s computer and information systems. I coordinated jobs related to the hardware, software and network that the business uses. Common responsibilities I normally do includes:

    • Evaluating the organization’s IT needs and finding ways to improve the products and systems in place for enhanced productivity, security and efficiency

    • Recommending upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-based investments for the business

    • Developing and overseeing the IT policy, security measures and best practices for the company

    • Scheduling and supervising IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, system updates and outages

    • Managing IT team members, assisting in performance evaluation and offering guidance for advancement within the company

    • Identifying opportunities for IT training and developing classes that will equip employees to make the best use of the products and systems available

    Assists in the assessment of technology-related compliance issues across the organization including information security, identity management, user access, and data integrity. This includes working with systems owners and administrators to identify, document and monitor current risks and controls. IT

    • Be the main point of contact for IT and assist on all internal and external audit teams where IT inquiry is required
    • Monitor activities of assigned IT areas to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures including monthly, quarterly, and annual account and activity reviews
    • Ensure execution of required testing and auditing activities for the IT Department by internal and external parties leading to successful certification of the company on an ongoing basis
    • Triage Change Management issues and provide recommendations
    • Work collaboratively with Security Compliance and Legal teams to identify and manage privacy, data protection risks, and compliance requirements to help meet stakeholder expectations
    • Make broad recommendations on improving compliance related processes and/or procedures as it pertains to the IT department
    • Partner with management, business teams, and/or data team to implement solutions
